What Makes Us Better Than The Others?
Hair loss is a complex problem and requires a complex solution. Mainstream treatments have not kept up with scientific advancements, but Maximus has. The Warrior Protocol uses the latest and greatest to tackle hair loss from multiple angles.
- Warrior Protocol
- Traditional Treatment
Warrior Protocol
Unlike the traditional treatments for hair loss, Maximus uses hormone-safe medications at effective concentrations that are proven to work.
A study found latanoprost (used in Warrior) increased hair density by 38 hair/cm2 after 24 weeks.2 A different study, evaluating finasteride (traditional treatment) under similar conditions, found only a 10 hair/cm2 increase in hair density after 24 weeks.3 That's a 3.8x greater increase in hair density from latanoprost.
The Warrior Protocol includes a custom dermastamp with 1.5mm titanium microneedles. Studies have shown these microneedling increase hair growth results from minoxidil (also included in Warrior) up to 4x.1 Unlike other dermarollers, which may tug and even tear skin, Maximus’ dermastamp device — included with each order — applies evenly.*
Traditional Treatment
Over-the-counter supplements don’t work and the traditional hair loss treatments are still in the Stone Age. Of the traditional treatments, finasteride has shown to have some effectiveness — but carries risks.
• Finasteride inhibits production of the hormone DHT. DHT plays an important role in sexual function. Research has shown DHT increase erections in men, and taking medications like finasteride that block DHT can cause erectile dysfunction. 4 5 6
• DHT has also been shown to play a role in stimulating facial hair growth. 7
• Finasteride also interrupts hormones that regulate mood. Use of finasteride has been linked to depression.8
What about topical finasteride? Research shows topical finasteride lowers DHT by 35%. 9

Latanoprost
Latanoprost is a groundbreaking medication which studies have shown is able to grow head and beard hair. Unlike finasteride, latanoprost does not interrupt hormones that regulate mood and sexual function.

Minoxidil
Minoxidil (Rogaine) has been shown to increase hair growth in a dose-dependent manner. Warrior uses minoxidil at a concentration of 8%, a strength not available over the counter.
Olsen EA, Whiting D, Bergfeld W, Miller J, Hordinsky M, Wanser R, Zhang P, Kohut B. A multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical trial of a novel formulation of 5% minoxidil topical foam versus placebo in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in men. Tretinoin
Minoxidil has been shown to have its effects enhanced when when applied in along with tretinoin.
Sharma A, Goren A, Dhurat R, Agrawal S, Sinclair R, Trüeb RM, Vañó-Galván S, Chen G, Tan Y, Kovacevic M, Situm M, McCoy J. Tretinoin enhances minoxidil response in androgenetic alopecia patients by upregulating follicular sulfotransferase enzymes. Dermatol Ther. 2019 May;32(3):e12915. doi: 10.1111/dth.12915. Epub 2019 Apr 23. PMID: 30974011.
Melatonin
Melatonin, most known for its role in mediating the wake-sleep cycle, has actually been shown to increase the hair count 40% after six months of application.

Azelaic Acid
Azelaic acid, a medicine used to treat acne, reduce inflammation, and kill bacteria on the skin has also been found to promote hair growth. Studies have shown it to have an additive effect with Vitamin B6 (P5P), another ingredient in the Warrior Protocol.

Zinc-Thymulin
Thymulin, a naturally occurring compound produced by the thymus gland, has been shown to extend the anagen (growth) phase of hair. Its biologically activities are dependent on the mineral zinc. Both are included, bound to one another, in The Warrior Protocol.

Vitamin B6 (P5P)
Because of its role in protein metabolism, Vitamin B6, is important to hair growth. Studies have shown an additive effect with azelaic acid in growing hair.
