Quiet the food noise. Lose the weight.
Semaglutide
- Cuts hunger and food noise. Activates GLP-1, the hormone pathway your body already uses to signal fullness, so you eat less without white-knuckling cravings.
- Less hunger within weeks. Most clients notice the food noise quieting and portions shrinking inside the first month.
- Your dose, your plan. A licensed prescriber sets it from your weight, history, and goals. Not a flat protocol.
Compounded semaglutide is available by prescription only after medical evaluation, is not FDA-approved, and is not appropriate for everyone. Side effects can occur. Individual results vary.

Important: thyroid C-cell tumor risk. In studies, semaglutide caused thyroid C-cell tumors in rats. It is not known whether semaglutide causes thyroid tumors, including medullary thyroid cancer (MTC), in people. Do not use semaglutide if you or any of your family members have a history of MTC or if you have multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Tell your provider right away if you develop a lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing, or shortness of breath.

There’s a reason why everyone is talking about Semaglutide. It works.
See what your year could look like.
How it works.
Semaglutide, an FDA approved GLP-1 receptor agonist, mimicks the hormones that regulate blood sugar levels and appetite.

↑ Insulin Secretion
Semaglutide stimulates the pancreas to release insulin when blood sugar levels are high, helping to lower blood glucose.

↓ Appetite Cravings
Semaglutide affects areas of the brain that regulate appetite, leading to reduced hunger and increased feelings of fullness. This effect makes Semaglutide particularly useful for weight loss.

↓ Weight Loss
In addition to helping regulate blood sugar, Semaglutide has been shown to help people lose significant amounts of weight by reducing caloric intake.

↓ Gastric Emptying
Semaglutide slows down the rate at which the stomach empties its contents into the intestines, which helps reduce the rate at which sugar is absorbed into the bloodstream.

Regular monitoring may be needed to track your response to treatment.

Weight Loss Treatment FAQs
Who is eligible for GLP-1 weight loss treatment?
GLP-1 weight loss medications may be appropriate if you’re trying to lose weight, reduce appetite, improve blood sugar control, or support long-term metabolic health.
After you sign up, a Maximus doctor will review your medical history and determine whether Tirzepatide or Semaglutide is safe and appropriate for you.
If you’re not approved for treatment, you’ll receive a full refund (minus the cost of the doctor consultation).
What states is Weight Loss Protocol available in?
Our Weight Loss Protocol — including Semaglutide and Tirzepatide options — is available nationwide in all states but AL, MS, LA.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card to pay for Weight Loss Protocol?
Yes. Maximus accepts both HSA and FSA cards for weight loss treatment.
Simply enter your HSA/FSA card information at checkout as you would any debit or credit card.
Coverage varies by plan, so if you're unsure whether your HSA/FSA approves GLP-1 medications, check with your plan administrator.
If I’ve previously been prescribed GLP-1 medication, can I start at the same dosage with Maximus?
If you have documentation of prior GLP-1 use, your Maximus provider will help determine the most appropriate dose for your treatment plan.
Do you charge extra for higher doses?
We offer flat-rate monthly plans that include access to all dose tiers.
Your Maximus provider will help you determine the safest and most effective dose for your goals.
What side effects should I be aware of?
Common side effects of GLP-1 medications include:
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Constipation
Side effects are typically mild and temporary. If you experience discomfort, your Maximus doctor may adjust your dosing schedule or recommend supportive strategies.
How long until I see results?
Most people notice:
- Reduced appetite within the first few days
- More stable cravings within 1–2 weeks
- Visible weight loss within several weeks once medication reaches steady-state levels
Results vary based on your dose, metabolism, and adherence to habits like diet and physical activity.
Are GLP-1 medications safe for long-term use?
GLP-1s like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide have been extensively studied for long-term use in weight, metabolic, and diabetes management.
Your Maximus provider will monitor your health markers and adjust your treatment plan as needed.
Can this be used with other Maximus Protocols?
Yes. The Weight Loss Protocol works well alongside other Maximus protocols -including Testosterone, Hair Growth, Blood Flow, and Oxytocin Calming Cream — as part of a comprehensive health optimization plan.
Your provider will ensure there are no contraindications.
Is the Weight Loss Protocol available for both men and women?
Yes — Maximus weight loss treatments are available and effective for both men and women.
Is this compounded with base form or salt form?
Maximus uses only the base form of Semaglutide and Tirzepatide — the same form studied, tested, and approved in clinical trials.
Some pharmacies use salt forms (e.g., “Semaglutide Sodium” or “Semaglutide Acetate”), which are different chemicals, are not equivalent, and have not been tested for safety or effectiveness.
Using salt-form compounds may be unsafe or ineffective.

Subscription Products: Refund and Cancellation Policy
Many products available for purchase through the Service require that you purchase the product on a subscription basis. For subscription-based products, your payment method will be automatically charged at regular intervals as described for that product during the checkout process. You may cancel a subscription at any time before the applicable periodic processing date of your subscription by utilizing the Maximus application or emailing support@maximustribe.com. Subscriptions will auto-renew under the same plan terms initially selected. Maximus does not provide refunds for medicines that have been shipped. Price or subscription period changes will be communicated to the email address on the account at least seven (7) days in advance of their implementation. Some protocols may require additional lab testing to maintain continuity of care and support proper client outcomes. These lab testing services or materials may require additional payments, which will be communicated on the website and via email to the address on file for the account holder. Aside from any separately communicated lab testing fees, you will generally see and be required to pay a single 'total' subscription price. Unless otherwise specified, if a subscription product you purchase requires a consultation with a Provider and/or includes a prescription product that you fill through one of the Pharmacies, then the total price you pay may include the amount charged by the Pharmacy for the prescription drug and the amount charged by the Medical Group for the services of the Provider, as well as the amount we charge for use of and access to the Platform. We collect the amounts charged by the Pharmacies and the Medical Groups on behalf of the Pharmacies and Medical Groups and pass the applicable amounts through to them. For additional details about refunds and cancellations, read our full Subscription Refund and Cancellation Policy.
