Ingredient

How It Works

Benefit

Semaglutide

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. This means it mimics the effects of GLP-1 hormone.

GLP-1s work on key underlying metabolic pathways to support sustained weight loss, rather than a quick fix. You'll lose the weight, and keep it off.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 supports brain function, the immune system, and the transportation of oxygen around the body. It also helps create neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and dopamine.

We compound our protocol with Vitamin B12 to help combat common side effects associated with GLP-1 agonist usage such as nausea and gastrointestinal distress.

3. Custom Treatment Plan

After reviewing your lab results, your doctor prescribes a treatment plan that best fits your needs, explaining the benefits and what to expect.

4. Group Coaching

Medication is combined with group coaching in small, supportive settings with like-minded and goal-focused individuals, like yourself. It's specifically crafted to preserve your muscle mass during weight loss by closely tracking your caloric and protein consumption, and offering personalized nutritional advice.

5. Dosage Adjustments

To achieve your target weight you will often require increased doses of semaglutide. Maximus will monitor your progress and adjust dosages accordingly until you achieve your goals.

6. Maintenance Dose

Research indicates that discontinuing Semaglutide treatment can lead to regaining some of the lost weight. By combining optimal lifestyle choices and a low maintenance dose of Semaglutide, you will be able to keep the weight off.

Using your HSA/FSA is easy. Simply use your HSA/FSA card as you would any other debit or credit card when providing your billing information.

HSA/FSA plans vary on what services they are willing to cover. If you are uncertain whether your plan covers Maximus' services, check with your plan administrator.

If I have been previously prescribed GLP-1, can I start at that dosage with Maximus?

If you have documentation of previous GLP-1 agonist usage, our providers will work with you to find an optimal dose that matches your profile.

Will I be on this product for life?

GLP1 agonists are designed to complement a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. While these lifestyle choices are generally long-term commitments, the duration of use for this product isn't necessarily indefinite. It's crucial to have ongoing discussions with your healthcare provider about the appropriateness and duration of use for this product tailored to your individual needs.

What are the other health side effects I should be considering?

We compound our protocol with Vitamin B12 to help combat common side effects associated with GLP-1 agonist usage such as nausea and gastrointestinal distress.

How much weight, specifically, can I expect to lose?

Combined with dietary changes and exercise, patients can expect to lose an average of 14.9%, but can lose up to 20% of their weight. If you are starting off at 225 lbs, you can expect to lose almost 34-50 lbs over the span of a little over a year.

How long until I see results?

Your results are contingent upon adherence to diet and exercise. Appetite suppression and craving reduction starts shortly after beginning the medication. Noticeable results in weight loss start within the first few weeks after the medication reaches a steady state dosage.

Is there any harm in injecting myself? Is there a best place to inject?

Most GLP-1 agonists are administered safely as subcutaneous injections, meaning they are injected into the fatty layer of tissue just under the skin. The best places for these injections are typically the abdomen, thighs, or upper arms, where there is sufficient fatty tissue. Always rotate the injection site each time to avoid skin issues. Practice proper hygiene, injection techniques, and safety measures.

How does/can this work with other Maximus Protocols?

The GLP-1 protocol can be used as an adjuvant to the other Maximus protocols to boost your overall well being in all facets of your life.

The drugs are generally well-tolerated, however, infrequent and transient, dose-related side effects may occur. We have compounded these medications with Vitamin B6 to help mitigate potential side effects.
