Developed nearly a century ago, injectable testosterone replacement therapy is showing its age. While it was groundbreaking in the 1930s, today's patients often find it inconvenient and potentially problematic. The frequent injections can be a hassle, and finding the right dose is difficult. For some the benefits are outweighed by the potential side effects: elevated hematocrit levels, estrogen imbalances, and perhaps most alarmingly, shrinking testicles and decreased fertility markers.

What, How, and is it safe?
Active Ingredients
Our products are designed to optimize your safety and efficacy.
Maximus Oral TRT+

Native Testosterone
What is it?
Native testosterone is bioidentical to the testosterone made by your testicles.
How does it work?
Through lymphatic absorption, native testosterone is delivered to the blood stream without harming your liver.

Enclomiphene
What is it?
Enclomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator
How does it work?
By selectively blocking estrogen receptors, enclomiphene increases signaling to the testes to maintain testicular function, size, and fertility markers.
Pregnenalone
What is it?
A hormone that improves mood and energy without affecting testosterone and estrogen
How does it work?
Pregnenolone has inhibitory effects on GABA pathways, that when combined with its positive effects on NMDA receptors, provides a feeling of alertness, higher mental clarity, and a sense of wellbeing.
vs.
Injectable TRT

Testosterone Cypionate
What is it?
An esterified version of testosterone meant for delayed release
How does it work?
Testosterone Cypionate is suspended in oil which is then injected into muscle. This creates a small depot of testosterone that is released over time into the blood.
You have questions, we have answers.
Who should take this product?
This product is specifically designed for men who are seeking to optimize their overall well-being and quality of life. It's particularly beneficial for those experiencing symptoms associated with low testosterone levels. These symptoms can include feelings of lethargy, a decrease in libido, and a reduced sense of drive or motivation. If you find yourself facing these challenges, our product may be a suitable choice to help you regain your vitality and enhance your daily performance.
How is Oral TRT absorbed? Won’t the liver metabolize the medication and render the oral TRT ineffective?
Testosterone, known for its limited oral bioavailability, has seen significant advancements in delivery mechanisms that enhance absorption. These advancements allow the medication to avoid being fully metabolized by the liver, ensuring effective delivery into the bloodstream. This approach supports consistent and reliable testosterone levels without compromising efficacy due to liver metabolism.
What is lymphatic absorption, and how does it affect drug metabolism?.
Comparison of native testosterone and testosterone undecanoate, a prodrug to testosterone, in oral formulations..
Our formulation shows similar pharmacokinetics to testosterone undecanoate by requiring fat for optimal absorption, and a Tmax of 4 hours.
Testosterone Protocol includes CLIA-certified at-home lab testing to evaluate your “before and after” results. These lab kits allow you to see the results for yourself, and are used by your clinician to optimize the pharmaceutical dosage to your unique needs.
How do I take this medication?
To ensure optimal absorption of the oral testosterone, it should be taken with a meal or source that includes at least 30 grams of fat. This aids in maximizing the efficacy of the medication. Alongside the oral testosterone, you should take Enclomiphene/Pregnenolone sublingually, which means placing it under your tongue for absorption. It's recommended to take both the oral testosterone and Enclomiphene/Pregnenolone at roughly the same time for the best results.
A study on a similar formulation of oral testosterone showing higher fat intake around the dose can improve the efficacy of oral testosterone..
What is the cost and what’s included?
The treatment cost for the Testosterone Replacement Protocol is is dependent on whether you're subscribing monthly, quarterly, or annually and whether your subscribe to our Building Blocks Supplement. It includes doctor consultation and medication (if qualified).
Baseline and follow-up lab kits are required in month 1 ($149.99), month 2 ($99.99), and month 3 ($149.99).
The baseline lab charge occurs when you submit your payment information during your onboarding medical questionnaire (month 1).
The follow-up lab charges occur when you submit your payment information during your follow-up medical questionnaires in months 2 and 3, respectively.
Additional labs may be required by your doctor for ongoing treatment, otherwise annually thereafter.

Can I use my previous blood tests to qualify?
Yes! If you have bloodwork from the last 6 months that shows Total Testosterone, SHBG (or free testosterone), LH, PSA, and Hematocrit (HCT), you can upload your results during the sign up process.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card to pay for Testosterone Protocol?
Maximus accepts Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
Using your HSA/FSA is easy. Simply use your HSA/FSA card as you would any other debit or credit card when providing your billing information.
HSA/FSA plans vary on what services they are willing to cover. If you are uncertain whether your plan covers Maximus' services, check with your plan administrator.
Is Oral TRT and TRT+ vegan-friendly and kosher?
Yes to both, though you should specify your special needs during your onboarding so that your doctor prescribes the appropriate capsules.
What should I eat for fat with the dose?
When taking your dose, it's beneficial to pair it with healthy fats to maximize its effectiveness. Eating less than 30g of fat will give you subpar results, and more fat will give you better results (40-50g). Always aim to eat whole foods. Simply taking 2 tbsp of olive oil is not going to produce results. You want foods to digest slowly to allow for optimal absorption of the testosterone.
Nuts and Nut Butters: 15-20 of any nut including almonds, macadamia, cashews. 2 tbsp almond butter
Fatty Meat: Fish (3 -5 oz salmon, 2 cans of sardines), Beef (5 oz fatty cuts of steak and 6 oz ground beef). Chicken (6 oz, skin on thighs)
Full Fat Dairy: Cheese (Mozzarella, Cheddar, Ricotta, Cottage), Greek Yogurt, Butter, Whole Milk
Eggs: Any variety, more than 3 at a time
Fruits: 10-15 Olives, 1-2 Avocados
Avoid: MCT oils (bypass lymphatics) and seed oils
I like to utilize intermittent fasting as part of my routine, how do I take the medication?
Take your dose whenever you take your next meal and ensure that any testing is done four hours after dosing. Ensure adequate fat intake. If your eating window is only at night, consider shifting it to the morning.
Does Oral TRT have adverse side effects?
Side effects may include acne, change in libido, hair loss, increase in blood pressure, increase in hematocrit and hemoglobin, increase in PSA. PSA increases are negligible, minimal effect of blood pressure, and hematocrit increases are the lowest out of all forms of testosterone.
For those who are prone to hair loss, dutasteride can be requested from your provider. Dutasteride is a potent 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that prevents the conversion of testosterone to DHT, which is the main culprit in androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness). An additional benefit of using dutasteride in combination with oral testosterone, is the increase in total testosterone without changing the dose of the oral testosterone.
How will this impact testosterone (free, total)?
Oral formulations of native testosterone have been developed to provide optimal serum testosterone levels. Free testosterone measurement is a result of SHBG, and albumin, so increasing total testosterones will result in an increase in free testosterone given the other variables stay the same.
How long until I see a difference in my testosterone levels?
Individual results may vary; however due to it’s short half life, results from oral testosterone are seen rapidly, peaking within 4 hours after ingestion. Enclomiphene’s effects on testosterone and suppression mitigation can be seen within 28 days.
Maximus’ Oral TRT Plus Protocol: A Highly Efficacious and Non-Suppressive Approach to Significantly Enhance Testosterone and Quality of Life in Hypogonadal and Eugonadal Men.
Oral enclomiphene citrate raises testosterone and preserves sperm counts in obese hypogonadal men, unlike topical testosterone: restoration instead of replacement.
Do I have to worry about estrogen related side effects like gynecomastia?
In our internal studies, we observed that estrogen levels generally fell within the normal range when our product was used. This indicates that the management of estrogen levels might not necessitate the employment of aromatase inhibitors. Furthermore, our medication incorporates Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (SERMs), such as enclomiphene. Enclomiphene functions by selectively inhibiting estrogen at specific receptors, including those found in breast tissue. This mechanism aids in preventing the development of breast tissue that can result from elevated levels of estrogen.
How is this different than TRT and the use of SERMS individually? Will I still maintain fertility?
Our oral TRT combination therapy offers the best of both worlds. On one hand, it capitalizes on the impressive benefits of TRT, leading to a substantial surge in testosterone levels that directly boost libido, mood, energy, strength, and recovery. Simultaneously, it introduces enclomiphene into the equation, which works by maintaining levels of LH and FSH to maintain fertility. Over a period of four months in our trial, we saw no decrease in the aforementioned fertility markers. This ensures a testosterone boost without jeopardizing fertility, striking an optimal balance.
Enclomiphene Citrate Improves Hormone Levels While Preserving Sperm Production in Men With Secondary Hypogonadism.
How many labs do I need to take? What type of labs? Can I bring my own labs?
You will need to take baseline labs encompassing Testosterone, LH, FSH, SHBG, Estradiol, HCT, and TPSA to deem eligibility for treatment. All these tests can be conveniently completed using Tasso devices, which are at-home blood test kits. We will send kits to you together, making it easy and efficient for you to complete all the required tests at once.
You can bring your own labs as long as the test was completed within the last 6 months of screening for treatment eligibility.
How does work if I’m currently on TRT? Enclomiphene? Clomid?
If you are currently on Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), or taking Clomid (clomiphene) it is necessary to completely stop these treatments for a period of two weeks before undergoing the baseline blood test required to assess your eligibility for our treatment. This complete cessation is crucial to ensure that your test results accurately reflect your natural hormone levels.
On the other hand, if you are considering switching to oral TRT alone, a cessation period is not required.
For those currently using enclomiphene, continue taking your medication. You will be instructed to adjust your dosage to a level determined by your healthcare provider.
Do I refrigerate or freeze this product?
There's no need to refrigerate or freeze this product. We recommend storing the medication in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. This helps to maintain the effectiveness and quality of the product over time. Ensuring it's kept in these conditions will help in preserving its potency and safety
