How do I take this medication?
You will be prescribed TRT for either subcutaneous or intramuscular injections. Your medication will be provided along with syringes and alcohol swabs. Your doctor will determine dosage and frequency, which is often 1-2x per week.
What is the effect on liver enzymes?
Injectable TRT has minimal effects on liver enzymes, but since enclomiphene is mainly metabolized in the liver, patients with preexisting conditions affecting the liver should monitor the enzyme levels.
Elevations in liver enzymes, the prototypical sign of liver toxicity, were not seen with native testosterone.

Can I use my previous blood tests to qualify?
Yes! If you have bloodwork from the last 6 months that shows Total Testosterone, SHBG (or free testosterone), LH, PSA, and Hematocrit (HCT), you can upload your results during the sign up process.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card to pay for Testosterone Protocol?
Maximus accepts Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
Using your HSA/FSA is easy. Simply use your HSA/FSA card as you would any other debit or credit card when providing your billing information.
HSA/FSA plans vary on what services they are willing to cover. If you are uncertain whether your plan covers Maximus' services, check with your plan administrator.
Does Injectable TRT have adverse side effects?
Side effects may include acne, change in libido, hair loss, increase in blood pressure, increase in hematocrit and hemoglobin, increase in PSA. PSA increases are negligible, minimal effect of blood pressure, and hematocrit increases are the lowest out of all forms of testosterone.
For those who are prone to hair loss, dutasteride can be requested from your provider. Dutasteride is a potent 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that prevents the conversion of testosterone to DHT, which is the main culprit in androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness). An additional benefit of using dutasteride in combination with oral testosterone, is the increase in total testosterone without changing the dose of the oral testosterone.
How will this impact testosterone (free, total)?
Free testosterone measurement is a result of SHBG and albumin, so increasing total testosterones will result in an increase in free testosterone given the other variables stay the same.
How long until I see a difference in my testosterone levels?
Individual results may vary; TRT injection results are usually seen in the first few weeks.
Oral enclomiphene citrate raises testosterone and preserves sperm counts in obese hypogonadal men, unlike topical testosterone: restoration instead of replacement.
Do I have to worry about estrogen-related side effects like gynecomastia?
TRT can cause estrogen-related side effects like gynecomastia. Your doctor will monitor estrogen levels, but please report any side effects directly to your doctor for best ongoing treatment.
How many labs do I need to take? What type of labs? Can I bring my own labs?
You will need to take baseline labs encompassing Testosterone, LH, FSH, SHBG, Estradiol, HCT, and TPSA to deem eligibility for treatment. All these tests can be conveniently completed using Tasso devices, which are at-home blood test kits. We will send kits to you together, making it easy and efficient for you to complete all the required tests at once.
You can bring your own labs as long as the test was completed within the last 6 months of screening for treatment eligibility.
Treatment requires a baseline lab, a lab after your first month, after your third month, and annually thereafter.
How does work if I’m currently on TRT? Enclomiphene? Clomid?
If you are currently on Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), enclomiphene or clomid, you can easily switch to TRT injections. A cessation period is not required.
For those currently using enclomiphene, and wish to continue taking it during TRT treatment, continue taking your medication. You will be instructed to adjust your dosage to a level determined by your healthcare provider.
Do I refrigerate or freeze this product?
There's no need to refrigerate or freeze this product. We recommend storing the medication in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. This helps to maintain the effectiveness and quality of the product over time. Ensuring it's kept in these conditions will help in preserving its potency and safety
How do self injections work?
You'll receive your medication, a supply of syringes, alcohol swabs and instructions. When taken as directed, at-home self injections are safe. (Consider the number of diabetics who take insulin injections frequently)
While the first injection may feel daunting, most customers find that it gets easier over time. However if the injections are too stressful, or causing injection site side effects, you can always switch to topical or oral TRT instead.
Is it true that intramuscular injections are more effective than subcutaneous?
Based on available research, subcutaneous injections are just as effective and often are more comfortable
Are Maximus TRT injections different than other online companies?
Maximus has specially formulated the base for our TRT injections to be superior. We utilize MCT oil which is less viscous, smoother to inject, has a lower risk of inflammation, and absorbs better. This is in contrast to many companies that use grapeseed oil, sesame oil, cotton seed oil, and castor oil, which all do not offer the same performance and quality.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
Maximus guarantees that all of our Testosterone Protocols will increase your testosterone by at least 10% in the first 90 days of treatment. Customers will track their levels with CLIA certified blood tests (both before starting the protocol to establish a baseline, as well as after taking the medication, as directed, for at least 30 days).
